In most recent developments, the medical pandemic of Covid-19 has effectively shutdown hotel, airline and restaurant industries. This has led to massive unemployment with over 3.3 million unemployment claims made as of March 26th, 2020. The Fed estimates unemployment could rise as high as 32% with 67 million Americans at high risk for layoffs, according to a recent article by CNBC.

Although no one has crystal ball to accurate predict the length of the time these industries will be affected, it is safe to say that people will shift to employment in other sectors.
